Home Insemination (IUI)

Hello!!!!

So we did it our first home insemination with IUI.

Here is what we did and what we used.

1. Insemination Kit (Syringe/Catheter)

2. Speculum (Size S, M, L)

3. Pre-Seed

4. Latex Disposable Gloves (Powder Free)

5. Flash Light

6. Lots and Lots of pillows

********************************************************

Yesterday I did my OPK at 7:00 AM, 3:00PM and 9:44PM

to make sure that I was Oing,

it doesn't mean you have to do it to.

I got a real good positive at 3:00PM.

Which I know I would CD 17 is always my O days.

So we thought to do it at 13 hours

past + OPK.

2:30AM

We took out the IUI vial out of the dewar

let it sit for 10 minutes at room temperature

so the frost can melt.

Then I put it in my hand for 15 minutes to

bring it from room temperature

to body temperature.

While we waited Marcy put

in the Per-Seed in my vagina.

Then when the 15 minutes were up

I got the Syringe and Cather sucked up

all of our baby juice.

I laid down on my hundreds of pillows

so my hip can be up

Marcy put in the speculum

shined in the flash light

took a while to see cervix

put there she was waiting for the baby juice

to be put in her

Marcy put in the Cather as far as she could go in

and let the little babies go and do what they

had to do.

I stayed laying down with my leg up for 20 minutes.

Then we rubbed my stomach and sang

a song that went like this

Go baby go make for me and mommy

go baby go we can't wait to see you.

And that is how it went and what we did.

and it was positive.

My cervix is very high and soft and I'm starting

to get O pains and i have a lot

of watery CM.

I have never gone this crazy looking at my OPK in

my life I just hope every thing goes right

and it doesn't get all messed up.

I'm trying not to go crazy.

I trying to keep my mind away from it all

some time it works but some times it doesn't

Our baby arrived home today!!!!

Well our baby juice has arrived today I was so existed to see it waiting for us at the front door.

Now the nerves, I have tell my self to chill out or it want work

I don't want to mess up my O day you know

what I mean those nerves will kill

any thing.

My son asked me what was in the big box I told him

it is the baby then he said can I see it (lol)

I told him no not yet that me and Marcy have

to make it.

I haven't told my daughter yet she is not home she slept

over Marcy's mom house.

But when she gets home I will tell her the same thing I told her brother.

I called my sister (Ischa) and told her to, she was very happy about it.

She said oh so when we get there you may be pg .

Oh yea I forgot to post this on my blog that my mom, sister, brother in law

and the kids are coming down here from my home town

Philadelphia down to visit us here in Florida for the summer.

I can't wait i haven't seen my mom for over 4 years I miss her so much.....and my sister too.

So I just can't stop thinking about.....When is our babyjuice getting here

that's all I can think about..... I don't really like to talk about

it to any one but Marcy I feel like if

I do talk about our AI to any body but my

wife it just wont happen.

This is meant for us..... our family our baby I don't

want somebody to think bad thoughts

about it... like *I hope it doesn't work

for them* you know sending us bad vibes

I guess that how everyone feels

when they have to go about having a baby this way.

I have not yet told my mom Marcy hasn't told her mom either.

I told her we should wait until we get our BFP or until we are 3 months.

But I tell you this the day I order our babyjuice I wanted to call my mom

and tell her mom we got it I just order and it should be here

on June 6 and she would be so happy for us......

but after we do it and get our BFP she will be happy after the fact (lol)...... Marcy felt the same way to

she wanted to call her mom and tell her the good news

but we can't not just yet.

So we just told the kids and my sister and some of our friends

only that we order not the day it will happen.

I DID IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So I did it...... I order and my #1 baby juice and it was available, I'm so happy I just can't wait. So it should be her on the 6... OMG I'm going crazy I'm so happy right know I think I'm going to bake a cake and some cookies for the kids and DP. I just called DP at her job and told her she was so happy. So I will let everyone know how it goes. MONDAY NIGHT IS THE NIGHT JUNE 9,2008 WISH US LOTS AND LOTS OF *~*~*BABY*~*~*DUST*~*~*

Hello All!!!!!

I guess you all know by now that AF has came and shown her face, for her four day stay but it is OK I'm not mad at her because we need her to keep coming over until we are ready to do our first AI.

So my new out look is.... I have just start taking Vitex and Prenatal Multivitamin and see how that goes for the first couple of mouths and then we do our first AI.

I can't wait to do this and get our BFP!!!!!

Marcy had a dream that we did our IUI and got a BFP so i hope the dream was one of those dreams that tells you what is to come in your life..... I know it sounds crazy but it has happen.

Well I'm sorry I didn't put this up yesterday but I had

a lot of things to do with Marcy and the kids we went shopping and got some things for the baby that was on sale three little outfits

I did my other OPK at 10:00 PM and it was negative.

HELLO EVERYONE!!!!!

Well today is April 23 ,2008 and AF has came over 3 days early but that is OK I'm not mad at her. I need her to keep showing up until we are ready. So I woke up today feeling like $hit so I knew she had stopped by for her 4 day visit I just wish she just wouldn't make me feel like this I just hate it.

But it just make it closer and closer to the day of our first AI I just can't wait.

Oh yea on Monday we went to the mall to see if they were having any sales and they were, we went to Old Navy first I got a lot of baby stuff they had for just $1.00 I was in heaven , I got a lot of girl thing they did not have any boy stuff Marcy did not like that but i told it is just God tell you that we are going to have a little girl first and the a boy but she say no it is going to be a boy but for some reason I just feel like it is going to be a girl and then a boy and the one more boy.

Yes I want to go for 3 more kids and that will put me at 5 kids, but I did want 6 for as long as I can remember.

So we will see what Marcy say about that .

Hey Everyone!!!!!

So I did it I fell in love with Baby Snoopy that is, and the

Peanut Factory.

Marcy is so happy I have been looking on line for some baby snoopy stuff, not that much out there so I just thought to my self

I can just make it myself for my baby but the only thing is, I

don't know how to make fitted sheets for the baby's mattress.

So i guess i have to look on line to see if I can find something to show me how and i hope it wont be hard , oh yea and the bumper too.

Oh this is so much fun I Love this so much it just makes me so happy you know.

Today is CD 16 and I have started my OPK today and i got my first negative at 9:00am .

I will be do two test a day until i get closer and then i will do three test a day.

My CM is getting higher and I have a lot of EWCM that is a good sine that O will be happen soon.

So i will be back later on today to do my second test.

Well I'm sitting here at home all alone my kids are out side playing with their friends doing god knows what and I'm just thinking about if I would have the baby know what would I be doing.

1. HOLDING THE BABY

2. KISSING THE BABY

3. CHAGEING THE BABY

4. JUST LOVING THE BABY

5. TAKEING THE BABY OUT SIDE TO ENJOY THE SUNNNY DAY

I wish we can do our IUI now and not have to wait I hate waited the only thing I have to look forward to is my OPT and checking my cervix and CM.

I have started to write down every thing we are going to do from start to finish, I have not shown Marcy because she will get mad at me, so I hid the note book in my closet were she dose not go and look for things, this is making me go crazy I wish we can just do it and I get a BFP.

I really don't have any body to talk to about that would understand me or maybe going through the same thing if anyone is, feell free to leave your email so maybe we can talk and help each other.

Got It All Ready

Hello everyone sorry I have not been writing on my blog but I am still new at this.

Well Marcy and I have pick our donor and we are very happy

with our choice.

His short profile was real good so we are going to get the

long profile.

It was real funny because reading it was

kind of like if Marcy wrote it about her self they

were so much a like it was crazy, so Marcy was happy about that

and I was too.

So we are hope with that and his detail looks

the baby would look little bit like Marcy.

We all ready have our baby names pick out

so if it is a boy or girl they all ready have their names and

we don't have to go crazy over that ,

now all we need is to pick out the nursery theme.

I know what Marcy is going to want if it is a boy

Snoopy, she loves the Peanut Factory .

So maybe I'm going to go for Tinker Bell

I love Tink.

We are hope we get a BFP on the first try so we are going to take our

time with this, we don't want to jump the gun

if you know what I mean.

So we have took July off our calendar

and left it open.

Marcy doesn't want me to be going crazy about

it and just think about our IUI

all month long until

it gets here.

So on April 8 ,2008 it will be my CD 16 and the first day

of my opt, so last month I did one test

a day and it made me crazy so

I'm going to to three this

time one in the AM, noon and in the late PM,

hoping that would be better.

Yesterday we went to Big lots and I found some Clearblue easy

digital HPT for just $6.00 a box and it came with

3 test sticks.

I was happy about that I have been try to

get some on eBay for a good price

and I could not.

I know why what your thinking why buy it know

you have not started your first

IUI but i just want to

have it all in hand.

So when I do need it I have it and I don't have to go out

and buy them, and for $6.00

who in their right mind would let that go

not me. (lol)

Lets see what else did we do oh yes we went to a local farm

and got some thing we need it I got

my favorite Honey Bell Orange's

I just love those things

I love to go to the farms here

and the kids love to go there and it good for them.
